It's back! Like it would ever stay away. :)
2014's Canadian YA Lit event kicks off today with this post. Like always, the next two weeks will be filled with guest author posts, Q&A's, and reviews featuring Canadian YA authors and their books. It's my hope that, during those two weeks, those who stop by will discover a new author or book to check out, and then share with others and so on. :)
There are a lot more reviews this year than last year, but I think that's good. There are still authors answering my silly questions, but it's also about the books they write, the stories and characters they create. I've tried to cover a number of genres, spread it out a bit, so hopefully there will be one that catches someone's attention.
As always, different authors are taking part. Some returnees from previous years, some new. Some debuts, which is awesome. I love debut authors.

It's the same with all genres of books. I've never really known any Canadian authors where I've liked their content, but I would like to find one that I do.
ReplyDeleteI love this event every year. We have so many great YA authors in Canada. Particularly excited for your posts on The Story of Owen and Not Your Ordinary Wolf Girl because I know less about those titles.
ReplyDeleteI don't know many Canadian authors, but it's great to see there are Canadian authors I'm familiar with who I never knew were Canadian! Like Janet Gurtler :)
ReplyDeleteI've met in person 10 Canadian authors, but it wasn't until last week that I began to realize how little CanLit books I actually own. (I counted only a shelf! though I've probably read a bit more than that.) So that's my goal for this year: read more CanLit... starting with *looks at list* Whoa that's a lot! ;)
