Day 1 - Canadian YA Lit Event 2015

Hello! It's May, which means it's time for the Canadian YA Lit Event! It's back! :)

I hope you're all looking forward to two weeks of reviews of Canadian-authored YA books and Q&A's with Canadian authors, because that's what I have lined up. It's about 50/50 this year with reviews and Q&A's.

As always, thanks so much to the authors taking part. This event wouldn't exist without you saying yes to my requests, or you saying you'd love to take part, or you writing the books I'll be talking about. And thanks to the authors and wonderful publicists who sent some of the books, and to my local library for having one book I'll be reviewing in stock. :)
Now, the part that most people show up for. The giveaway. During the next two weeks you can enter to win yourself a copy of a Canadian YA book. The info and rules are the same as past years. You can enter if Book Depository ships free to the country you live in, the book has to be written by some form or another of a Canadian YA author, and the book has to be out by the end of June of this year to make sure the winner isn't kept waiting for months and I'm not kept waiting to order it.
So hopefully you'll all come back over the next two weeks and check out all the posts highlighting Canadian YA. :)

    1. Oops, forgot to answer the question! It's a tough call, choosing a fave Canadian YA author, but I do love Catherine Knutsson's writing! Also Polly Horvath and Karen Bass.

  2. That is much too hard a question... there are so many options! Let's say Courtney Summers because I love her tweets too XD

  5. I'm not sure I can say I've a favourite Canadian YA authour, as I don't read nearly enough. I'll go with Kelley Armstrong, though she's not exclusively YA. Definitely need to read more!
